Features
One desk. Every computer on it.
Input Portal links the computers in front of you into one workspace. Move the pointer through a screen edge and your keyboard, clipboard, and, when you want it, the remote screen itself follow. Nothing to configure, nothing to connect.
Keyboard and mouse
The keyboard follows the pointer
Push the pointer past the edge of one screen and it appears on the next computer. Whatever you type goes where the pointer is.
- Input without borders
- Held keys and drags continue
- Familiar shortcuts work cross-OS
Zero setup
No IP addresses. No host. No account.
Computers on the same network find each other automatically and show up under their existing computer names. Pick one, or a whole group, and send an approval request.
- Found by existing computer name
- Approve once
- Your group forms itself
Clipboard everywhere
Copy here, paste there
The clipboard follows you across the group. Copy on one computer, cross the edge, paste on the next. The receiving screen glows on the edge that faces the sender so you always know where it came from.
- Text, rich text, HTML, and images
- Works with screenshots
- Never written to disk
Screenshot translation
Your screenshot shortcut works on every computer
Muscle memory should not depend on which keyboard is in front of you. Input Portal translates the screenshot shortcut of the computer you are sitting at into the one you are controlling.
- Opens the system’s own screenshot tool
- Print Screen works too
- Paste the screenshot on any computer
Remote preview
Cross the edge. See the other screen.
Move the pointer onto another computer and its screen fills yours. Move back and it closes.
- No session to start
- Opt-in per computer
- Over the Internet only if you allow it
Screen layout
Arrange screens the way your desk is arranged
Drag each computer onto a 5 × 5 grid so the edges match reality: the laptop on the left, the workstation in the middle, the Mac up on the shelf. Then the pointer simply goes where you expect.
- Any direction
- Multi-monitor as one unit
Internet fallback
Different networks, same desk
Off by default and one setting for the whole group. When the local network cannot reach a computer, Input Portal uses the encrypted relay instead. The local network always comes first.
- No VPN or port forwarding
- Encrypted end to end
- No account needed
